Tokyo Creative Salon 2024

For Tokyo Creative Salon 2024, we worked with a local school to create paper aeroplanes — each one a wish written by a child for their future. These were installed onto one of the oldest mikoshi in Japan, a traditional portable shrine that carries prayers and hopes.

The mikoshi was placed in the international departure hall of Haneda Terminal 2, where travellers from around the world could pause beside it before leaving Japan — taking the memory of those small wishes with them.
